Tell me more about it!

An educational program My Perspective is a project for youth from Belarus and Germany. Young people are usually very eager to solve the problems that are important for them or their society, but they don’t always know where to start and how to do it. And here we can help! We will introduce you to like-minded people, will provide you with the support of professional mentors; during the sessions will clarify all the questions, steps and stages. We will also tell you about the experience of our initiatives of activists from different spheres. Don’t forget about your improved English up to a fluent level, nowadays one can’t do without it!

Wait, is everything in English?

Sure, but you shouldn’t be afraid! All the trainings will be held in English, so that the participants from Belarus and Germany could understand each other. We don’t demand a diploma from a linguistic university, but it’s important to know English at a conversational level.

What is the format?

The program consists of two 5-days off-site trainings and the projects to be realized in between them. For that we will meet each other in October, 14-19 in Minsk and November, 23-30 in Berlin. The things that will be covered are accommodation and meals for you in Minsk and Berlin, as well as tickets to Germany. From you we will only need your presence in all stages of the project and the realization of your own initiative in the end.

What will we do?

Create our own initiatives!  For that we will get acquainted with active guys from Belarus and Germany to speak about important things and search for the solutions of the problems, bothering young people from two countries: gender equality, environmental issues or migration and culture. In our program there are study-visits, workshops on the development of communication skills, teamwork and social projects’ promotion. Everything is created for the participants to successfully implement their initiatives and continue their realization even after the project is finished.

How will it look like in the end?

At the end of two trainings all the participants will create and launch their own projects that deal with important social problems, and will learn, how to develop and promote their initiative in a right way. Professional mentors will help with the realization, and the projects themselves will be presented at the fair, organized at the end of the program in Minsk.
